VEICHI THREE-PHASE SOLAR DRIVES • VIA CEDAR PUMPS

Veichi three-phase solar pump drives.
Planned around your water demand.

Explore solar operation for a compatible three-phase borehole or irrigation pump. SolarFlow helps match a Veichi drive and solar array to your motor, the water delivery required and the hours you need it.

FOR YOUR FARM

Keep water demand at the centre of the decision.

An irrigation block needs a particular flow and pressure. A storage tank needs enough water through the day. Tell us which job your pump does, and we’ll assess the electrical equipment around that duty.

Use an existing AC pump

Assess solar operation without assuming that a functioning pump must be replaced.

Match the irrigation duty

Bring required flow and pressure into the sizing discussion before choosing a drive rating.

Consider operating hours

If pumping must continue outside useful solar hours, discuss the compatible supply configuration and water-storage plan.

Exact model suffix, rated output current and motor voltage determine suitability. Confirm the nameplate rating for catalogue labels such as 18 kW and 110G.

Is matching the kW rating enough?

No. Rated motor current, voltage, motor type and the full drive model code also matter. Solar input limits, cable length and the installation environment complete the assessment.

Can this run my irrigation system?

The existing pump must meet the irrigation flow and pressure. We also need the operating schedule to assess whether direct solar hours and available storage suit the job. The drive does not increase the hydraulic capacity of the pump.

Why discuss cable length?

The run between the drive and motor affects the installation design. Provide the approximate length so cable sizing and any output-reactor requirements can be checked against the drive manufacturer’s guidance.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Describe the job as well as the motor.

For irrigation, specify the operating flow and pressure and whether water is required on a fixed schedule. For tank filling, describe the daily volume, pumping water level and destination height. Those details help separate hydraulic requirements from electrical sizing.

  • Send motor voltage, rated current, power and full model number.
  • Identify existing controls, supply sources and approximate cable length.
  • Confirm the chosen enclosure, monitoring and reactor requirements in the quote.
WHAT TO TELL US

Tell us about your existing pump.

Provide the pump and motor details so we can size the drive and solar array and assess the installation accessories.

  • Motor voltage, current, power and model
  • Array voltage and available power
  • Cable length, enclosure and accessory requirements
