Uniflow AC borehole pumps.
A matched pump and motor.
For a new borehole or an existing pump that needs attention, SolarFlow helps select Uniflow equipment from Cedar Pumps. We match the pumping section and motor to the water you need and the available power supply.

Replacing a part or starting from scratch?
For a replacement, send the existing pump and motor details and describe the problem. For a new installation, share the borehole report and where the water needs to go. We’ll help define the complete equipment required.
New installations
Select the pump curve and motor together from the required flow and total head.
Replace the right component
Identify the existing wet end and motor before deciding what needs replacement.
Keep solar in the discussion
Where compatible, a Veichi drive can be assessed as part of an AC pump’s solar configuration.

| Range | Listed options | Equipment selection |
|---|---|---|
| 4-inch / 230 V | 0.37, 0.55, 0.75, 1.1, 1.5, 2.2 kW motors | Match motor, wet end and controls |
| 4-inch / 400 V | 0.37, 0.55, 0.75, 1.1, 1.5, 2.2, 3, 4, 5.5, 7.5 kW motors | Confirm model and electrical supply |
| 6-inch / three-phase | 7.5, 11, 15, 18.5, 30 kW motors | Match XRS pump selection to required duty |
What is a wet end?
It is the hydraulic pumping section. It needs a compatible motor to become a working pump assembly. Wet ends in the supplier range are listed separately, so the motor and controls must be identified in the quotation.
How do I choose between 4-inch and 6-inch?
Start with borehole clearance and the required flow and total head. Then check the pump curve and the matching motor connection. The borehole diameter alone does not select the correct pump.
Can an AC borehole pump use solar?
A compatible motor may be operated through a correctly selected solar pump drive. The motor nameplate, existing pump duty and proposed solar array need to be assessed together.
What should I send for a replacement?
Send photographs of the pump and motor nameplates, the available supply, and the existing controls. Include the borehole information and describe any loss of flow or pressure so the replacement addresses the actual problem.
Start with your water requirement.
We need the borehole dimensions, required duty and motor details to identify the appropriate pump configuration.
- Borehole diameter and water levels
- Required flow and head
- Motor and electrical supply details
